Endless Fun and Recreation at Pendleton

The Pendleton Community offers two full size regulation tennis courts for residential leisure and exercise. Bench seating has recently been installed to provide rest areas in between those “intense”: matches. An outstanding place to have fun in our community. Tennis courts should be used by Pendleton residents on a first come, first serve basis.

Pickleball in Pendleton is an outdoor racket/paddle sport where two players (singles), or four players (doubles), hit a perforated hollow polymer ball over a 36-inch-high (0.91 m) net using solid faced paddles. The two sides hit the ball back and forth over the net until one side commits a rule infraction. In 2022, the Pendleton HOA had Pickelball lines installed to encourage additional participation off the sport in our community.

An official, regulation half-court basketball area was implemented for the residents of Pendleton to support additional recreational activities for the residents of our community. The basketball court is open and available on a first come, first serve basis. We ask that Pendleton residents accompany any guests to the recreation areas at all times. This policy is in place to ensure non-residents are not utilizing facilities established for our residents.

The Pendleton Community offers some of the best walking in South Atlanta. The structure of our community provides safety for our residents due to limited traffic and minimum connection to high traffic areas. From spring to winter you can find residents walking the community of Pendleton enjoying our beautiful nature and scenery.
